Cherry Blossoms
While not strictly a Philippine dating site, Cherry Blossoms is packed with attractive Filipino women. You’ll also find singles from other Asian countries like Thailand and China.
The site is operated by a US-based company, headquartered in Hawaii. That means customer service, should you need it, is more accessible than it is on other international dating sites.
The women you’ll find are mostly in their late 20s+, and are typically looking for marriage, or at least a long-term relationship. Many women join the site hoping to marry a Westerner and relocate – and the site offers “Visa Support” packages to help navigate the paperwork.
While the site claims to only allow women who were born outside of North America to create profiles, you’ll likely find a few fake profiles and scammers on Cherry Blossoms.
Using the video and chat features to screen your matches is helpful, and you can also filter your search results by “last online” so you’re not wasting your time on inactive or fake profiles.

OkCupid
OkCupid is one of the most popular dating sites in the world, and if you’re looking for interesting, attractive local Filipina singles in their 20s and 30s, it’s an excellent place to start your search.
You don’t need a paid subscription for all the essential functions like messaging and viewing photos, which makes OkCupid one of the best free dating sites in the Philippines.
There is one caveat, though – for a woman to see your first message in her inbox, she must “like” your profile first. If she hasn’t done that, your profile automatically pops up in three places: her Search, Discovery, and Double Take feeds. Your message will be visible on your profile there.
OkCupid offers some perks, like seeing who “likes” you and showing your profile to the most attractive women, as part of the two premium “A-List” membership packages:
An A-List membership starts at $19.95/$34.90 a month, with a price break for purchasing a 3- or 6-month subscription.

Tinder
Tinder is a popular dating app in the Philippines, especially for singles in mega cities like Manila.
While many Tinder users are in their 20s & 30s, you’ll find plenty of older Filipino singles as well. If you’re local and looking for something casual, Tinder is a good place to find it. You’ll also find women looking for something more serious, and even marriage.
You can set up your profile, swipe left or right through profiles, and exchange messages with your matches without spending a dime.
But free users are restricted to 100 “likes” every 12 hours. If you’re in a place like Quezon City that’s jam packed with attractive Philippine singles, those right swipes are going to go fast.
If you want unlimited right swipes, you’ll need to upgrade to Tinder Plus or Tinder Gold:
Tinder Plus is worth the $9.99 a month (if you’re under 31 – $19.99/mo if you’re older) just for the Passport feature. It allows you to swipe through Philippine singles in any city, so if your trip has multiple destinations you can line up dates in Caloocan while you’re still in Manila.

Bumble
Bumble is another “swipe right for yes/left for no” app like Tinder.
But Bumble has one key twist – once a “connection” is formed when both people swipe right, only the woman can send the first message.
And she only has 24 hours to do it. After that, the match expires. If she does send you an icebreaker, you must also reply within 24 hours. After you’ve both sent messages, there aren’t any more deadlines.
On the plus side, Bumble is a confidence booster because you know she’s interested enough in you to send a message. But if you want the best results on Bumble, you have to check the app at least once a day.
Like Tinder, Bumble is a great way to meet Philippine singles for free. But if that 24-hour countdown worries you, you can pay for a Bumble Boost subscription. That gives you the chance to add an additional 24 hours to matches that are about to expire, and you can also re-match with expired connections so she’ll have another chance to send you a message.
The cost of a Bumble Boost membership ranges from $8.99 for a week to $79.99 for 6 months.
If you’re looking for casual dating, Tinder is a better bet since the women on Bumble are typically looking for something more serious.

CoffeeMeetsBagel
CoffeeMeetsBagel is a great option if you’re looking for a serious relationship. While the majority of Filipino women you’ll find are 25 to 34, there are also plenty of women 35 and up on the app.
This dating app is similar to Tinder in that you say yes or no to potential matches (called “Bagels”). But CMB focuses more on the quality of matches than quantity – men review up to 21 bagels at a time, sent at noon each day.
Women, on the other hand, only see Bagels who have already “liked” their profile.
Once you’ve received your Bagels for the day, you have 24 hours to “Take” or “Pass.” If the interest is mutual, the message exchange can begin. CoffeeMeetsBagel is motivated to move conversations off the app and into real life – message exchanges can only last 7 days.
You’re not limited to just viewing your matches every day. There’s also a “Discovery” section where you can browse through more local singles. But if you want to “Take” a profile in this section, you’ll have to spend beans.

Here’s a major drawback. Despite the record-setting number of women using Tinder in Manila, the number of men – both local and foreigners – is astronomical. This means competition is sky-high, and women are getting spoiled with attention.
I spent years in Manila off and on between 2014 and 2018. I saw the online dating scene change dramatically over that period. In 2014, when I walked around Manila, it was common to see average men walking around with gorgeous Pinays. I’m pretty sure I once saw a guy being fed grapes like a king at a luxury pool.
By 2018, westernization and globalization had taken their toll. I often saw foreigners walking around with Pinays I didn’t travel to PH to meet (to put it lightly). Plus, the word is out. Men from all over the world flock to Manila for easy sex. For this reason, I recommend looking outside Manila if you’re searching for a non-westernized traditional Pinay.

Quick Tinder Tips for the Philippines
- I recommend using Tinder Plus to get the most out of your Tinder experience in the Philippines. The key feature is unlimited swipes. You need unlimited swipes to give yourself the best chance of meeting Filipinas on Tinder.
- Skip Tinder Gold – Tinder will try to upsell you Tinder Gold. The main advantage of Tinder Gold is the ability to see who’s already liked you. The problem is that no matter how good-looking you are or think you are, the women who already liked you most likely won’t be your top picks if you get my drift.
- The second Tinder Gold feature is the ability to swipe right on all the women in the daily Top Picks section instead of just one. This feature is essentially useless. What I’ve noticed is that Tinder always puts the same women in the Top Picks section, and they’re nearly impossible to match with. I’m not even sure if Tinder logs the like when you swipe right on a girl in the Top Picks section.
- The bottom line, Tinder Plus is worth it, Tinder Gold is not.

Bumble is similar to Tinder and very easy to use. You swipe left or right on women the same way as Tinder. The main difference is that women message you first. If you match and the woman doesn’t message you, she’ll disappear after 24 hours.
Bumble claims they made it this way to reduce dead-end matches. In my opinion, it doesn’t work as well as they planned.
I don’t recommend spending too much of your time on Bumble, but it’s worth having in your arsenal as a backup dating app. Once you go beyond using the sites and apps in this guide, you spread yourself too thin.

- Filipino Cupid is the best Filipino dating site for men who are serious about settling down with a Filipina. Women using Cupid and Asian Dating are more receptive to men who appear as though they have good intentions.
- While Tinder is hands down the best Filipino dating app, it’s very easy to get banned because Pinays will report you at the drop of a hat if you get out of line. Choose your words wisely and don’t let your temper or ego get the best of you.
